My name is Miguel Vigo IV, I commonly go by Mike. I'm the Chief Revenue Cycle Officer at University of California San Diego.
A lot of the problems I tried to solve with working with FinThrive was really transparency and consistency. Transparency in the way that our problems need to be solved, how they were being solved so that we understood them, could communicate them and identify any issues as well as educate our teams. Working in healthcare, there's an ever changing landscape. So making sure that we had a partner that was bringing not only the technical values and the bottom line values but also be adaptive. What could we do better? How can we educate? How can we strengthen our programs, our policies, our workflows so that we didn't repeat those issues over and over.
FinThrive does a great job of bringing products and services that have the right level of detail that's needed. So at an executive level, I wanna understand the sweeping changes and trends. Every so often I wanna dive into details. However, when it comes to my teams and the management and the line level, they do bring that level of complexity and details and specificity that's needed to understand the root cause issues, address the problem, and then make sure that we have the right build or edits in place so that we don't repeat that.
FinThrive also did a great job with relationship building. So that I didn't have to start the same conversation over and over, which sounds simple, but nowadays in the industry and across the country, with the amount of staffing issues and turnover, there's a massive value there that you don't quite see in an income statement or bottom line. Whenever we have a question that comes up that's relative to the discussion, FinThrive is there.
It's not all about what's best for FinThrive, it's what's best for me as a client, and that means volumes to me. Having a partner that understands that and brings in value in all those topics is key and one of the reasons why we are really, really happy with our relationship with FinThrive.
