How FinThrive’s End-to-End RCM Platform Brings Value to a Hospital Network
Hear from Pennsylvania Mountains Healthcare Alliance
As a network of independent community hospitals, Pennsylvania Mountains Healthcare Alliance (PMHA) struggled to maintain effective RCM workflows at each of its 16 locations. With multiple disparate systems, PMHA knew it was time to re-evaluate and implement a solution that could help streamline processes throughout the revenue cycle.
Hear from Nicole Clawson, VP of Revenue Cycle and Finance at PMHA, as she shares the value of a FinThrive partnership and how the implementation of an End-to-End platform has addressed critical gaps in her organization's revenue management process.
Nicole Clawson (00:07):
My name is Nicole Clawson. I am the vice president of Revenue Cycle & Finance for PMHA, Pennsylvania Mountains Healthcare Alliance, in DuBois, Pennsylvania.
(00:22):
The problems that we were trying to solve was having multiple databases we couldn't connect information or trend as we would like to find issues, gaps in our revenue management. The FinThrive partnership is helping solve that problem because they can wrap up that End-to-End solution.
(00:49):
The technology is advanced, which is exactly what we were looking for when we were strategizing. I was looking five to 10 years out for a viable vendor who is doing that forward-focus strategy as well and found that in FinThrive. I would describe the partnership with FinThrive as one of just that, a partnership. They understood we're a complex, unique organization and they understood our vision and what we were trying to accomplish as well.
(01:25):
My strategy for the End-to-End platform integration and migration is utilizing the ROI from the FinThrive Insurance Discovery product, which is what we are leading out with, and that will be used to help fund the implementation of the other products.
(01:51):
Our whole process of from when the statement of work came into place from the agreement being signed, we did take a little longer because we have multiple facilities that are independent, but when we did, we kicked it off, we ran with it, there was high anxiety, and brought all the groups together for a team approach within our hospitals as well as within PMHA, so we can make this a successful transition into the End-to-End solution.
